Hi Cyn, The details are sketchy, but here's what I know. My cousins live in Mandeville LA, across the lake from New Orleans. They were spared the ravages of the hurricane, but my cousins brother in law drowned saving his son. Don't know where they were. The man who drowned, his Mother was in Houston at the time, don't know if she has even gotten home yet. Don't know when they'll even be able to have a funeral for this man. He left a wife and three school aged children, so if any of your list believe in prayer, this family sure could use it. I watched Fox News last night which I usually don't. Shepherd Smith was livid because those people had been on that bridge for five days with no food or water,and Geraldo Rivera was holding a baby with tears running down his cheeks. I heard that hurricane was wider than the state of Florida. Right now I'm very disgruntled with the people rejoicing and hoping oil goes to $100 a barrel. I'm so grateful that my family only got tons of debris on their property, but still have a home. All those people there have no home to go to and it will be years before things are rebuilt. A lot of that could've been avoided had the government allotted the money for the corps of engineers to go in there a long time ago, to re do those levies. Hope you're doing well. Love ya, Lu
