glsplgJanet Reno was in Oklahoma on April 19, 1995Sun Aug 22, 2004 08:424.245.54.26 The events surrounding the OKC bombing have been discussed often on this board. I was living in Stillwater, Oklahoma at the time of the OKC bombing. On the morning of April 19, 1995 I was called to the Oklahoma-State Dept of Career and Technology Education, which was in a complex that contained several other State agencies, and at least one Federal office, to service comm. equipment. While walking down the hallway of the various departments, I learned of the events that had occurred in OKC from some state employees standing around a television watching the news. I then went to find two of my coworkers who were supposed to be in an office down the hall. I knocked on the door then entered the room when I got no answer. As soon as I opened the door, I was met by a man who told me to exit the building, and that all State and Federal buildings where going to be closed for the rest of the day. I did see what appeared to be at least 4 men and one woman in the conference room. I met my coworkers in the parking lot at the rear entrance of the building. A few minutes later the same people who had been in the conference room, came out of the rear entrance at the same time two unmarked Chevy Caprices pulled up. As they entered the two cars, one of my coworkers commented that he thought the woman looked familiar to him but that he could not place her. It was a little after 10 am.Later that evening back at my office we watched as US Attorney General Janet Reno gave a speech concerning the events that had occurred earlier that day. The news announcer made the statement just before she came on that she had not been in DC that morning. When she came into view of the camera the hair on my neck stood on end. The other two employees I had been with also immediately recognized her. She had been in Stillwater, OK very shortly after the Federal building had been destroyed. For those who do not know the local geography, Stillwater is appr. 60 miles north of OKC and is 30 miles south of Perry, Oklahoma which is where Tim McVeigh was arrested. We also have a small regional airport and a National Guard Armory. Also by coincidence several months later, I happened to be visiting with someone who worked very closely with BATF, the FBI and the Oklahoma County Bomb Squad during the cleanup of the site. He had a picture that came from a bank security camera adjacent to the Federal Building that showed a brown van that looked similar to a UPS van in front of the Fed building, not a Ryder van. The time stamp showed 08:57 am. April 19, 1995. Re: OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING COVER-UP APFN, Mon Aug 23 01:02
