Even MSNBC, the wonderful news source it is, is agreeing that the events of
the "Pakistani Terrorists" caught in England are slightly odd and unusual,
especially the peculiar way the Government is acting:
'Innocent until proven guilty'
British Muslims criticized the government for publishing the names of 19
men.
The bank's action is unusual in Britain. Normally, authorities do not
publish the names of suspects until they have been formally charged and
identified by the police.
"It is important to wait until a thorough investigation has taken place
before pointing fingers and drawing conclusions," said Wakkas Khan, a
spokesperson for the Federation of Student Islamic Societies.
"It is important to maintain the legal principles we hold dear, namely the
concept of innocent until proven guilty," he said.
