As a professional working in the Plumbing Contracting area let me tell you have having pulled apart many backflow prevention assemblies on all types of service [potable,irrigation,fire] we switched several years ago to HANNAFORD PURIFIED DISTILLED WATER IN GALLON JUGS FROM SWEET BAY OR THE OLD 'KASH N' KARRY' stores locally where we but same perhaps 20 at a time.
At 69 cents versus $1.29 or more for Bottled Water from other sources, the 'Distilled Water' even purified, is PURE WATER like Grandpa used to make with a STILL. Superheating water into gas formation then cooling down the same and putting same into a drinking or storage container. NO VITAMINS OR MINERALS so be sure to have your doctor prescribe a method of getting needed elements.
Cooking with Distilled water is easy and the food tastes much different than such cooked with tap water. GUESS THIS IS WHY THE POLITICIANS HAVE BOTTLED WATER AND STAY AWAY FROM THOSE WATER FOUNTAINS!!!!!!
One can MAKE a form of distilled water by using an electric coffee pot where you add X amount of water and turn unit ON!
Water is superheated, turns back into steam then converts while being cooled into DISTILLED WATER. Cost of filling gallons after gallons with such water is expensive when one can purchase Distilled Water in GALLONS from a local store
