Ladies and Gentlemen of the Human Race:

It is my hope that you could be in communications with both sides of the battle forces PLUS perhaps even higher to the leaders of Iraq and the United States of America and allies to make a simple request.

As a decorated American Veteran of One, age 65 and having been out of service since 1966 with the United States Navy and 1974 with the United States Army Reserves, we are not a threat to anyone in Iraq or any Nation of the World.

I further believe that perhaps Mr. Doug Rokke, a former Military Officer, not associated with any force presently engaged in Iraq but like myself a Civilian, might be willing to form a small group of professionals to be granted special permission to come into the battle areas of Iraq and elsewhere to professionally CONFIRM dangers of Depleted Uranium to the World. TWO vehicles would be chosen with sleeping areas which can be inspected and on WORLD TV shown not to have any armament or weapons before going to specific areas with YELLOW PRESS VEHICLES properly staffed and searched for weapons and tracking devices occupied by translators and news persons of your choice.

Such unprecedented action by Civilians which should take no longer than ONE WEEK IN IRAQ for each sector [North, South, East, West], aimed at protecting ALL NATIONS might draw some of the most recognizable professionals as well as us old timers with less expert knowledge but a will to see everything STOP so confirmation of DU can be made and brought to the attention of the World. The GROUP would perhaps number 10 specialists, me as a driver and perhaps Bob Nichols as a driver and reporter. Total 12 who would leave a point in daylight ONLY. Return to a staging area perhaps protected or perhaps a MOSQUE who will allow the leaders of a Religious Order to afford Sanctuary and allow us to sleep safely. We leave the details up to the leadership and only offer to risk anything to see this madness STOP.

Will send this to Mr. Rokke and a man named Bob Nichols who writes for the San Francisco Bay View news in America who has at great risk professionally come onboard with this exposure of Depleted Uranium particles dangerous to the World. Mr. Nichols may or may not wish to participate in a deadly search for the Truth on Depleted Uranium contamination of the Iraq people and the World in general.

IF such permission for professional CIVILIAN VERIFICATION OF DEPLETED URANIUM CONTAMINATION OR DANGER can be granted from the President, Vice President and Secretary of State plus Secretary of Defense and our American MILITARY LEADERSHIP plus Iraq Leadership and hostile forces commanders, perhaps you can obtain a TOTAL UNPRECEDENTED CEASE FIRE SO THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED. Vehicles will be painted CONSTRUCTION YELLOW with BLACK RADIATION SYMBOLS ON THEM and escorted by unarmed people. We will NOT be carrying any weapons just equipment and bottles to collect samples safely which will be tested and handled ONLY by those civilians with military or government assistance and looking over the shoulders of the civilians who volunteered for this strange but deadly DUTY TO PROTECT MANKIND FROM ITSELF!

YELLOW VEHICLES WITH BLACK RADIATION SYMBOLS and people dressed in YELLOW COVERALLS with BLACK RADIATION SYMBOLS, without telephones or radio's ON or tracking devices BUT WITH GPS locators in hand and Citizen's Band Radio's plugged into the Vehicle cigarette lighters offering instant communications between RADIATION MONITOR SEARCH UNITS plus your CB Radio's perhaps if American CB Radio's will not allow you the frequencies use needed. I will bring special sun protective clothing from SolarEclipse.com due to medical requirements to protect my skin from exposure. SPF30 creams will be provided by the Veteran's Administration Primary Care Physician Dr. Carlos Torres at the VAMC Tampa or James A. Haley VA Hospital. My medicines will allow FOUR WEEKS DOSAGE to be carried with me and flight arrangements will no doubt be provided by civilian or military aricraft for the trip over the pond.

Members of AL JAZEERA could accompany the VERIFICATION GROUP OF CIVILIANS as It is my understanding that the CB Radio we use here every day has a range of some 10 MILES with or without sideband and that foreign CB Radio's can be used easily adapted by 12 VOLT CIGARETTE LIGHTER PLUGS and magnetic Wilson 1000 Antennae TUNED for any one of 40 channels.

I personally have TWO WILSON 1000 CB MAGNETIC MOUNT ANTENNAE UNITS and TWO STANDARD 50 CHANNEL CB RADIO'S FOR LOCAL COMMUNICATIONS WITH TRUCKERS AND IN AN EMERGENCY. 12 VOLT POWER PROVIDED BY BATTERIES IN A VEHICLE OR JUMPING THE POSITIVE SIDE OF THE BATTERY TO THE CENTER HOT SECTION OF THE PLUG THEN JUMPING THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF A 12 VOLT BATTERY TO THE FINS ON THE SIDE OF THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER PLUG. Such would be cleared by My Government and Iraq Leaders and hopefully can be either left there or returned when this task is completed.

Review of all material and Testing can be done by the team and Iraqi Specialists plus any other Nation who would like samples to be provided to confirm our Suspicions and STOP WORLWIDE USE OF DEPLETED URANIUM MUNITIONS IMMEDIATELY AND FOREVER!

A cease fire is necessary to have ALL COMBATANTS AND CIVILIANS STAND DOWN WHILE THE APPROVED VISIBLE INSPECTIONS ARE MADE AND AL JAZEERA PROVIDE TV AND RADIO COVERAGE WORLD WIDE OF THE TWO UNITS WORKING AND RESULTS.

COMBATANTS SHOULD TAKE NO ACTION AGAINST ANYONE WHILE WE ARE ON THE GROUND IN THESE INSPECTIONS AND DAILY NOTICE WILL BE GIVEN AS TO THE EXACT LOCATION OF EACH INSPECTION TEAM FOR IRAQ THEATER AND SUCH CAN ALSO BE USED FOR ANY OTHER COUNTRY OR THEATER... provided the VA or Military Doctors keep my MEDS UP!

ANYONE CIVILIAN OR MILITARY in the Iraq areas being inspected for DU contamination by those who risk their very lives even undertaking such a task can also test civilians and see how many children are perhaps already infected. No members of the Inspection team will be armed nor will they be secret government spies trying to find anyone or anything except Depleted Uranium residue confirmation!

ALL civilians who attach themselves as interpreters or camera personnel or TV/radio/news personnel must be willing to DIE INSTANTLY if things go wrong and someone violates the STAND DOWN OR TRUCE! Inspection teams will not doubt not be in armored vehicles yet open for the viewing of the civilian public WORLDWIDE via Al Jazeera NEWS feeds. How much can one 12 person group EAT?

Where they eat, sleep and bathe is something only YOU can find out the answers to and get back to me. Our JUMPSUITS, CLOTHING and such can be washed in any water source which is clean. The Vehicles moving in your hot climate allow drying easily and tooth brush and personal hygene can be achieved as well as drinking water. All perhaps cleared in a small trailer for each vehicle. 2 Gallons of Water per man or woman should be normal per day and those MRE or ready to eat rations will not KILL ONE for the two weeks or so this group will be in the field. Just a few thoughts for the GURU's of the United States to consider.

AL JAZEERA must obtain permission from the Iraq leadership to have selected people, NOT MILITARY NOR JOINED BY ARMED FORCES, be allowed to view and inspect all sites where heavy Depleted Uranium shells or other items were utilized.
