bradmcell phones and 9/11Thu Jul 13, 2006 22:26
i wish whomever keeps posting the information about cell phones and 9/11 saying that cell phones are 3 to 5 watts would STOP POSTING that !
=================
When you make a cell phone call, the first thing that happens is that your cell phone needs to contact a transponder. Your cell phone has a max transmit power of five watts, three watts is actually the norm.
=====================
PLEASE.
I applaude the effort to get out the truth, but this is NOT the truth.
I have been in the cell phone industry for 15 years, working as a senior design engineer for several companies.
the above article was written by someone who has never worked in the industry, but only in military communications.
Cell sites are NOT called transponders.
they are called cell sites
(or base stations)
and i agree the calls were either faked, or not made at the altitude we were told.

speaking of the altitude fo the plane..
who made the maps we saw of the flight paths of the 9-11 planes ?
Jeff Krawczyk
The guy who runs Flight explorer has deep ties with the DOD and Military !
He was involved with a company that did software for wargames
just a coincidence ?
This software could well have had the ability to change data - real time (ACARS - transponder blips etc...)
PORTABLE cell phones have a MAX POWER of .6 watts !
this is determined by the FCC, it was NEVER more than this,
OLD cell phones INSTALLED in cars could go to 5 watts because the antenna was not next to your head.
