Sir, if you receive anything from the VA it will take an act of GOD! My husband has been fighting the system for many many years and so far nothing. Uncle Sam promises young men all sort of benefits before entering the military but when the time is served the vet is quickly forgotten. In my husband's case his COMBAT health records have been conveniently LOST. The VA has required that my husband jump through all sort of hoops and see this doc and that doc. He has done everything that the VA has requested of him and they STILL haven't done anything for him as far as benefits for enjuries received in KOREA. He was in two major combats which resulted in over 12 months on the front lines (that in itself is a long story). So you see our government doesn't care what happens to our military once they have served their time! Now the KOREAN vets are experiencing illnesses that are related to their enjuries received while SERVING OUR DEAR UNCLE SAM better known as the U.S.A. If I sound bitter that is because I am very bitter and disappointed in our government that is so decieving. Republican, democrat or indifferent it doesn't matter they are ALL just alike!
