The Rajneeshpuram cult was ruined by a ranking operative masterminding the idiotic poisoning of the locals. Ma Anand Sheela is Scott-free in Switzerland because Interpol is dysfunctional and she'll only face judgement after life apparently. But there's whole classes of criminals with National Security immunity from prosecution, or diplomatic immunity, totally Scott-free unless it becomes impossible to cover-up for the criminal, as in the case of Jeffrey Dahmer. Police, on orders from the chief, returned an escaped victim to Dahmer naked and bleeding from the head and ass. The chief got transfered to Tacoma awhile. The FBI infiltrated the Japan cult Aum Shinryko before they suddenly had sarin gas capability and the drive to do it without the knowledge of the leader Osahara, who is sentenced to death for it.
