Paul McNulty, Deputy Attorney General, testifies in the ongoing investigation of the firing of U.S. Attorneys. He appears before the House Judiciary Subcmte. on Commercial & Adminstrative Law. He is expected to discuss the actions of his Chief of Staff, Michael Elston. Mr. McNulty has announced that he will resign in June.

The Senate Judiciary Cmte. continues its investigation into the firing of U.S. Attorneys. Two former U.S. Attorneys of the Western District of Missouri testify in today's hearing. Bradley Schlozman replaced Todd Graves as U.S. Attorney in Kansas City after Graves refused to pursue the Dept. of Justice's voting-rights policy, designed by Scholzman. Sen. Patrick Leahy chairs the hearing.
