Katina Kefalosjudicial corruptionSat Jun 19, 2004 21:51151.201.121.166 Recently, I was released from prison after serving 21 months for civil resistance to the income tax laws of this country. My former court appointed attorney and the judge were former law partners at one of the country's most prestigious law firms. They conspired to deny me my Sixth Amendment Right to the assistance of counsel and 'forced' me to go to trial pro se. I am in possession of three memos (including a bench memo), along with three depositions that have been taken in the malpractice suit that I have against my former attorney. Everything that I have implicates the judge, who has already perjured himself in the matter. I wish to hold the judge accountable for his transgression against me. Presently, my malpractice suit is proceeding well and my former attorney and his law firm seem receptive to financial settlement and we are working toward that right now.SO - I would like to pierce the protective sheath of judicial immunity and do not know quite how to do it. My current attorney, handling the malpractice case, appears reluctant to pursue this. He repeats that I cannot sue a judge, but I simply do not accept this. I cannot file such an action on my own and believe that it would be quickly dismissed if I did. Can anyone offer me any insight, comment regarding filing suit against a judge, or referral to an attorney who might be interested in handling such a case?
