In 2003 progressive talk radio emerged on the national scene and has experienced phenomenal growth. The most recognized brand and source of national progressive talk radio is the Air America Radio Network featuring celebrity Al Franken.

Sheldon Drobny and Anita Drobny , principals in Nova M Radio, LLCwere the driving force which helped give birth to the Air America Radio Network. Both are widely known as the founding father and mother of Air America Radio.

Sheldon and Anita have now joined forces with another visionary and entrepreneur Dr. Mike Newcomb, a physician who cares for the frail elderly and poor. “Dr. Mike” is a nationally syndicated radio talk-show who pioneered liberal talk radio in Arizona. He’s a former Governor candidate who believes passionately in progressive values.

Across the country a huge progressive talk radio void exists. Conservative programs nationally broadcast over 40,000 hours of their content weekly versus 3,000 hours for progressive programs.

The Opportunity
Nova M Radio, LLC believes this “bottleneck” in the growth of progressive talk radio can be circumvented by directly purchasing underperforming radio stations at below market value prices and replacing existing formats with progressive content.
