ya know, maybe if we start drilling in our own country we would probably only pay 50 cents per gallon. or pretty damn close to it. then no one would be bitching about the price of fuel. everything in the whole economy is tied to this. the price of goods are going up because the small "ma&pa" shops have to pay for the high shipment prices along with the cost of what they are selling. the companies who provide the transportation for these goods wouldn't have to charge so much if the fuel wasn't so expensive, because those companies wouldn't be paying the high fuel prices. and before you know it more people would have jobs (or atleast those who want to work and not live off welfare which the working man pays for) because the oil companies would need employees to drill for oil and to transport the oil all over our country and possibly the world. what a concept, a good economy and affordable cost of living. but no, the environmental wackos are worried about the mating rituals of the animals that live in alaska. or there will be so much pollution that we will all die from smog. and i'm not talking about the average person that thinks that littering is bad or picks up trash off of the ground because someone else was too lazy to put it there themselves. i'm talking about those who believe that if you use a can of hairspray, you will kill everyone because the hole in the ozone layer is going to deplete so far that the sunlight will kill us. or whatever they believe. and if i hear 1 more thing about global warming i am going to puke. where i live it was pretty damn cold last year and this winter. people, not only is it simple math, it's just good ol' fashion common sense. we have got to get these bleeding heart liberals out the legislature and take back our country.
