Think about this:
If the George Bush guest worker program (read amnesty) passes, all those here illegally will no longer be illegal. Since they will be here legally, they no longer have to take the jobs that American's won't do. They will want a slice of the same dream that you, legal immigrants and I have. They will no longer work for the wages they are now working for because they will be here legally. They will want higher paying jobs. They will no longer work in the fields, do yard work, be hotel maids or work construction jobs. What they will do is quit those jobs. They will apply for and get welfare, food stamps, Aide For Dependent Children, Medicare, Medicaid and any other program they can apply for that you and I fund through our hard work and taxes. So what happens then? It's simple. Illegals will again start crossing the border to take those jobs that the new legal Mexican aliens refuse to do and we start all over again, just like we did 20 years ago when President Reagan gave the illegal aliens amnesty.
These people are about to be rewarded for breaking our laws, plain and simple.
If that upsets you as much as it does me, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Write your Senators and Congressmen. Tell them in no uncertain terms your feelings toward this matter and do it now. Then send this email to everyone you know that feels the same way. The clock is ticking. We must act now. Not manana
