peace & justice issues in America.

the most pressing issue of the peace & justice movement today. Here is why.
9-11 has been used to justify "endless war" and a continual rollback in civil
liberties that seems to have no end in sight. Yet, 9-11 remains the least
examined tragedy in modern American history.

Americans would have never agreed to the last two wars and the Patriot Act's
disturbing policy . . . had it not been for 9-11.

There are many disturbing issues around 9-11 that have yet to be examined in
any meaningful way by our media, Congress, and even by the 9-11 Commission.
These include accountability for the massive breakdown of air defense and plane
intercept procedures as described in FAA and DOD regulations, which were

BERLIN - The retrial of the only person ever convicted in the Sept. 11 attacks will begin at a Hamburg court in August, the Moroccan's lawyer said Friday.

Mounir el Motassadeq, whose conviction on charges of aiding the Sept. 11 plotters was overturned by federal appeals judges in March, won his release from prison earlier this month after the Hamburg state court ruled that the evidence against him was too weak to hold him pending the retrial.

The Hamburg court has now set the trial opening for Aug. 10, lawyer Josef Graessle-Muenscher said. The trial could last until the end of the year, he added. El Motassadeq is charged with more than 3,000 counts of accessory to murder and membership in a terrorist organization. He was convicted on those charges in February 2003 and given the maximum 15-year prison sentence. ..

"The Bush administration will today seek to prevent a former FBI translator from providing evidence about 11 September intelligence failures to a group of relatives and survivors who have accused international banks and officials of aiding al-Qa'ida.

Sibel Edmonds was subpoenaed by a law firm representing more than 500 family members and survivors of the attacks to testify that she had seen information proving there was considerable evidence before September 2001 that al-Qa'ida was planning to strike the US with aircraft. The lawyers made their demand after reading comments Mrs Edmonds had made to The Independent..."

Kyle Hence (911CitizensWatch) reported on April 24th in a newsletter, that Edmonds, "who believes the truth must be told", is still under gag order "but now the FBI is seeking to prevent her from giving a deposition to Ron Motley and his legal team on Tuesday."
(Motley is representing thousands of 9/11 victims' family members)

Edmonds is asking for a public showing of support at the hearing on Monday:

Update: Sibel wrote, that "it will be a hearing in front of Judge Walton, the
Bureau is going to fight Motley-Rice in order to block my deposition as a witness for
their case. It will be attended by the Bureau's attorneys, Motley-Rice attorneys, Mark Zaid (my attorney), myself, and the press."

Pt.1: The Saudi Flights



There is more behind the "Saudi-Laden-flight" story, than just a political cover-up,
or a planted distraction, as many 9/11 truthseekers suggested.
Furthermore there is also more behind the so called "cover-up" strategy of 9/11, often described as "incompetence theory".

What if the "incompetence" was already scripted from the beginning into the so called "military operation" of 9/11?
And what was the real role of all military anti-terror and war drills before 9/11 and during the week of Sep11th?

Let us play the observer and go step by step and start with some flights right after Sep11th: The Saudi-Laden flights.

The key angle of the story is not the flight itself, but the guy, who okayed it:
Dale Watson (at that time FBIHQ).
Watson rarely appears in all stories about the flights.

When 9/11 Commissioner Roemer asked "why the Saudis were allowed to leave the country,
who was on the planes, how many, and why the decision was made,"
(Richard) Clarke said, the government "feared for their lives...some of them were
bin Laden family members, and the Saudi embassy requested their evacuation."



During testimony Clarke told Roemer "I refused to approve the [Saudi]
request. I passed it on to [FBI Asst. Director] Dale Watson and the flight was approved....
I don't think they were ever interviewed in this country."
Only transcripts and/or video would negate Clarke's assertion.

It was just a private Boeing-727 Saudi flight from Lexington,
Kentucky to London. But the names on the
manifest raise serious questions about FBI policies
and procedures related to witness identification,
criminal investigations and obstruction of justice.



Ahmad A. M. Alhazmi, 20, (Saudi passport no. B805019)
is listed on the manifest with Prince Sultan bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, 19,
(Saudi passport no. 406 A), son of Saudi defense minister Crown Prince
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.



And they reboarded from a smaller Raytheon plane from Tampa, one hour away from Huffman Aviation (the CIA terror flight school), but the plane took off even next to military airbase MacDill, where Charles Holland already planned the war against Afghanistan (and later also Iraq).
Everyone blind?



The name Alhazmi and its ties to laundered Riggs Bank (Jonathan Bush as one of the heads),
cashiers checks should have become a subject of interest
--especially since young Ahmad Alhazmi has the same last name as Nawaf Alhazmi,
one of the terrorists identified as an alleged hijacker of American Airlines flight 77. 1

But noone seems to have recognised this.

The latest statements of the Sep11th commission also include some new irregularities:

About the saudi-laden-flights:

"...the commission cleared the government of any
wrongdoing, saying that all of the passengers were
screened by the FBI and other agencies...

The panel did say it had checked all of the names on
the flight manifests against current government watch
lists, and found no matches..."



WRONG: One passenger matched the last name of one of
the "official hijackers", Al-Hazmi.
(Nawaf Alhazmi was officially hijacker of AA77, the "Pentagon Plane")

Dale Watson/FBIHQ knew EVERY passenger lists (from 9/11 and the Laden-flights).
He received the 9/11 lists early in the morning and confirmed this to Richard Clarke.:

"...We got the passenger manifests from the airlines. We recognize some names, Dick. They're al Qaeda." (Page 13/14 "Against all Enemies")

It was also Watson, who okayed the Laden-Saudi flights, once again he spoke with Clarke. The story was confirmed to Vanity Fair. Recently also, during testimony, Clarke told 9/11 Commissioner Roemer "I refused to approve the [Saudi] request.
I passed it on to [FBI Asst. Director] Dale Watson and the flight was approved....
I don't think they were ever interviewed in this country.")

WASHINGTON, April 24 — The commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks is expected to offer sharp criticism of the Pentagon's domestic air-defense command in the panel's final report and will suggest that quicker military action on that morning might have prevented a hijacked passenger jet from crashing into the Pentagon itself, according to commission officials.

The performance of the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or Norad, and its failure to protect Washington and New York City from attack on Sept. 11 will be a focus of the remaining public hearings of the 10-member commission, which is in the final weeks of its investigation.

Commission officials said interim reports that were expected to be released at the hearings would suggest that Norad had enough time on Sept. 11 to launch jet fighters that could have intercepted — and possibly shot down — American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m., more than 50 minutes after the first hijacked plane struck the World Trade Center in New York. A total of 184 people died in the Pentagon attack, including the 59 dead aboard the hijacked plane.

The insurance companies want the U.S. Justice Department to serve summonses
and complaints on Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and other militants named as
defendants in a lawsuit in federal court in New York City.

But U.S. authorities said they have never officially acknowledged holding the
men. They also have argued such a disclosure could hurt the government's
battle against terrorism...

WASHINGTON -- A federal appeals court Thursday restored the government's full case against Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person charged in a U.S. court with conspiring in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and allowed prosecutors to once again seek the death penalty.
At the same time, the three-judge appeals panel in Richmond, Va., backed defense lawyers in their argument that Moussaoui is entitled to testimony from captured al-Qaida terrorists who have told interrogators overseas that he had nothing to do with the plot.

His story was now also picked up by the Victor Thorn Radio Show.
The "Witness", Scott Forbes, claims, he works for Fiduciary Trust in England.

Currently, INN could only locate his idendity in a SimGames Newsgroup

Update (04/25) : According to an email by Victor Thorn, he "did speak with Scott Forbes on the telephone Thursday night - he now resides in England - and 99% of the information in that article came directly from him. The only material I added via my own research was that which concerned the CEO - Ann Tatlock - that is in the public domain on Google. From my perceptions of him, he's a straight shooter --- very detail-oriented."

Did the World Trade Center towers undergo a deliberate “power-down” on the weekend prior to the 9-11 terrorist attacks? According to Scott Forbes, a senior database administrator for Fiduciary Trust, Inc. – a high-net investment bank which was later acquired by Franklin Templeton – this is precisely what took place.

Forbes, who was hired by Fiduciary in 1999 and is now stationed at a U.K. branch office, was working on the weekend of September 8-9, 2001, and said that his company was given three weeks advance notice that New York’s Port Authority would take out power in the South Tower from the 48th floor up. The reason: the Port Authority was performing a cabling upgrade to increase the WTC’s computer bandwidth.
