Sir, I salute you for your brave and intelligent words. Like you, I am a Vietnam Veteran (USMC '68&'69) and like you as well, I have opposed this war in Iraq, since before GWB could pull it off based on his lies and false documents.Unfortunately like you again, I have been attacked by others who believe in the "do as I say not as I do" gang of neo-con chicken-hawks headed by GWB.The country needs us Veterans to stand up and object to these bellicose and wrongheaded policies that continue to kill our troops, and the phony "patriotism" that these so-called leaders display. As our brothers and sisters fight and continue to die, Bush goes off to Crawford Texas for yet another unearned vacation and Cheney goes off to Asia on yet another taxpayer paid for junket.The real leaders of this country, such as yourself, stay home and try to change bad policies for the better. Thank you for your continued service to this nation, and Semper Fi!
