Got up early this morning to build a fire in the wood stove, and boot up the computer, curious to see how our petition for Congressional Oversight of FDA's Illegal Trilateral Cooperation Charter With Canada & Mexico was doing: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/373269232#body As of 2:55 pm Pacific time its just 25 short of the first 1000 signatures, so lets keep this ball rolling!!
Getting signatures on a petition is sort of like the process of building a fire. You carefully lay the foundation for the fire in the woodstove with two side logs and a backlog. You methodically crumple some newspaper, then lay in some kindling- open the damper controls for proper air flow, strike the match, and if you've done your work right, VAVOOM! She flares up and you can start building it bigger and bigger, give a pump now and then with the bellows to inject some AIR, and just be mindful of the need to feed it now and then to keep it going.
Similar process with a petition. To keep it chugging along, you've got to keep reaching out to more and more people. You've got to stay focused on your goal, and you've got to keep in mind the SPIRIT OF DSHEA, from those heady days of the early 90s when collectively the American people stuck the equivalent of a stick of DYNOMITE up the nether regions of BIG BROTHER FDA, reminding them of that YELLOW RATTLESNAKE FLAG of the 1770s era revolutionaries that has a snake on it and read "Don't Tread on Me!!" http://www.foundingfathers.info/stories/gadsden.html

I am AWARE of this LEGAL BATTLE of Truehope Inc. in Alberta against HEALTH CANADA (See "HEALTH HEROS FIGHT BUREAUCRATIC ATTACK" http://calsun.canoe.ca/News/Columnists/Corbella_Licia/2006/03/29/1510120.html
I stand in SOLIDARITY with the Canadian people in their WAR against Health Canada, realizing fully that the FDA (and the largest American vitamin companies which control the pharma dominated vitamin trade associations) all WANT harmonization to Canadian law.
I don't want harmonization to Canadian law, because I realize that then AMERICANS would be having the sort of problems that TRUE HOPE is having, and I realize if we DID harmonize to Canadian law, Truehope would no longer even be able to manufacture EMpower Plus, (since its manufactured in UTAH, USA).
I am ANGERED that 2 people committed suicide because Health Canada blocked EMPower Plus from crossing the border, and I clearly SEE that this battle to stop the FDA's Trilateral Cooperation Charter is IDENTICAL to the New Zealand battle to throw off the yoke of Australian pharma oppression as seen on THIS website: http://www.nzhealthtrust.co.nz/documents.html
