Dale9/11 Hearings...Ok, somebody slap me!Tue Mar 23 23:35:55 200463.228.146.155 9/11 Hearings...Ok, somebody slap me and tell me i'm missing something, but iheard something during the PUBLIC 9-11 hearings today that apparentlyNO ONE there seemed to take note of. Neither have i heard the majormedia commenting on the statement either. I'm just wondering WHY?During Colin Powell's testimony i heard him say that although thelocation of bin Ladin was known at times they couldn't take him outbecause high level Saudi officials were also with him (or in thearea). I even heard it repeated on CNN this evening. Now wouldsomebody PLEASE answer this question. What were high level Saudiofficials doing there with bin Ladin? Why didn't we take out theSaudi officials too if they were apparently collaborating with binLadin. Even IF we didn't take him out then, if Saudi officials werewith bin Ladin THEN, why did Bush fly a bunch of them out of thecountry when no one else could fly at all immediately after the 9-11disasters? This 'inquiring mind' wants to know. -- Dale =====================9/11 Commission Rejects Evidence Clinton Turned Down bin Laden ...NewsMax.com - 12 hours agoIn an opening statement for Tuesday's hearing, 9/11 Commission staffer Michael Hurley made no mention of Clinton's bombshell admission in Feb. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/3/23/102636.shtml Rumsfeld Says Early Strikes Wouldn't Have Stopped 9/11Reuters - 30 minutes agoWASHINGTON (Reuters) - Even if the United States had killed or captured al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, it would not have prevented the hijacked plane attacks on America, Defense Secretary Donald .. http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml%3Ftype%3DpoliticsNews%26storyID%3D4640005 Transcript: 9/11 Commission Hearing http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&edition=us&tab=wn&q=9%2F11+Commission&btnG=Search+News
