THIS WEEK’S LESSON IS:

Lesson #8 - “The States Delegate 20 Powers to Congress”

In 1776, the States had refused to delegate enough authority to Congress so
it could perform its legitimate functions. As a result, they almost lost the
Revolutionary War.

1. It was not allowed an EXECUTIVE.

2. It was not allowed a system of federal COURTS.

3. It was not allowed to TAX.

4. It was not allowed sufficient power to enforce its own LAWS.

But at the Constitutional Convention, eleven years later, the Founders
undertook the difficult and politically DANGEROUS task of:

1. Selecting the powers, which the States would now delegate to CONGRESS.

2. Fixing the boundaries around the Congress designed to LIMIT its power.

3. Fixing the boundaries of power in the STATES beyond which they could not
go.

THIS WEEKS HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT:

Forward this e-mail to your friends, families, co-workers, and neighbors who
may be interested in learning all about our Constitution.

THIS "CONSTITUTION 101" COURSE WOULD BE ESPECIALLY EDUCATIONAL FOR CHILDREN
OF ALL AGES, AS WELL AS ADULTS.

There have been many tributes to the Constitution, but the highest tribute
of all, is the willingness of a person to take the time to study it.

The Constitution is an exciting charter for human freedom, which establishes
nearly 300 vested rights, as they apply to various segments of the America
Society. Many people do not know the nature of these rights, nor how to
protect them. This is why many of these rights have been eroded, or lost.

"CONSTITUTION 101" was especially designed for those who realize there is
something seriously wrong in America today, but feel they are too busy to
find out what can be done about it.

If the Founding Fathers were here today, they would undoubtedly assure us
that we could do something about it. They would probably say it requires
three (3) things:

1. A fairly comprehensive understanding of the Founders' original success
formula based on a Free-Market economy and a constitutional form of
government. Also,

2. A good understanding of what has been happening to the Founders' success
formula since 1900. An finally,

3. A sincere desire to restore the Free-Market economy and constitutional
government in the tradition of the Founding Fathers.

If you are this kind of person, we think you will enjoy the "Constitution
101" program, because it was designed especially for you.

Again, Students of the "Constitution 101" course will be expected to be in
their Classroom (located at http://www.crusaderadio.com  then click on the
ON AIR" button to enter our classroom) each Saturday, in their seats, and
ready for class to begin sharply at 12:00 noon Pacific Time (1:00 p.m.
Mountain, 2:00 p.m. Central, and 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time). TARDINESS IS NOT
TOLERATED IN THIS CLASS.
