Wed Mar 17 01:06:57 2004 64.140.158.123 Well played Propaganda, Iraq intelligence vs. Ricin http://www.swezlex.com/log/archives/00000230.htm 3 days ago, A formal investigation about WMD and iraq intelligence was just starting to blow up in the news, Bush said he would allow an inquiry, the lies were ready to break the surface. If the media was left on its own with no other emerging stories of "importance", the iraq intelligence inquiry would have remained in the news for more than a 2 days. And then this ricin thing happens. "A package filled with ricin was opened at the Washington office of Republican Bill Frist — a key ally of President George Bush." If you are trying to kill someone with an ingestable poison, why would you send them a package? Wouldn't you put it in the victim's drink? Or food? ,Ricin can be inhaled as an aerosol or eaten as a powder. If you got a package of suspicious looking powder would anyone in their right mind say, "Gee let me eat this powder?" "Let me snort this "grey cocaine"." "Outside of the body, ricin doesn't easily transfer through the skin, which is why products containing trace amounts of the toxin can be used safely in shampoos and cosmetics." Getting a package of the poison is harmless. I bet the ricin story was cooked up as a diversion to get our attention off the Iraq investigation. No one questions the oddity of the Iraq intellegence story disappearing from the news in one day. That is how powerful the ricin story was.
