Capitol Hill-AP -- Democrats are blasting President Bush on job losses.
In the party's weekly radio address, Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan seized on a since-retracted comment by a White House economist that "outsourcing" U-S jobs overseas is good for the country.

Ryan says the one (m) million Americans who lost jobs to overseas workers "find this statement outrageous."

The economy has lost two-point-two (m) million payroll jobs since Bush took office. Democrats say that's the worst job-creation record for a president since Herbert Hoover.

Ryan says in tough times Americans look for leadership from the president. Ryan adds, "Instead, we get salesmanship."
