Is Dallas an Ethical City?

Is Dallas an Ethical City? Do we understand that ethical conduct is Godly conduct?

Dallas, and Texas, use to be conservative, conservative in the Christian sense of family, community, and church, and, of course, in two different worlds, the white world and the black world.

Rod Dreher, Editorial Writer with the Morning News, recently wrote, “Modern conservatism has become too focussed on money, power, and the accumulation of stuff, and insufficiently with the content of our individual and social character. Economist E.F. Schumacher wrote that ‘the essence of civilization is not a multiplication of wants, but in the purification of human character.’”

We, the Citizens of Dallas, are faced with the significant task of reclaiming our city from the hands of a city government that has disgraced us to the rest of Texas, and disgraced us to the rest of the country. What has caused Dallas’ admitted National Image problem?

“We the People” of Dallas are faced with restoring ethical conduct to our city with the deck stacked against us, just like the greater challenge that our Federal Government presents us. We are a City, and a Nation run-a-muck with blatant social injustices, blatant violations of our Fourteenth Amendment with special interests always ahead of the line.

Why?

Our City, and Country, places greater value on mecantilism (take a look at the Mercantile Deal, and Congress’ major social program cutbacks) than humanity. Dallas is proud of its mercantilism, its blatant materialism as it states in its call to the rest of the country, “DALLAS, LIVE LARGE, THINK BIG”, a slogan that sounds more like a Viagra advertisement than a welcome to a city. Certainly there is a connection. Did “We the People” want this slogan?

Dallas, Texas is becoming a modern day Sodom or Gemmorah with its binging on cosmetic surgery, cars and homes we can’t afford, overextended credit, food, alcohol, gay old times, debauchery and pornography that pollutes our senses in a supposed Bible Belt area.

Dallas’ homeless population (6000 last year and 9000 this year) is growing like Pinnochio’s nose, representing the growing lie that we live. Yes, “Live large, Think Big”, and the homeless be damned. Actually, “Dallas, Live Large, Think Big”, and ya”ll will be damned

Yes, we have a national image problem. Dallas is now worshiping at the image of the Golden Calf, and the consequences of our conduct are reflected in crime, racism, corruption, growing homelessness and poverty, and general unrest.

God help Dallas. Citizens of Dallas, it is time to pray like you’ve never prayed before.

Thank you.
