US Vice President Dick Cheney has reportedly been involved
in a hunting accident in which he accidentally injured a
man.
Mr Cheney was on a quail hunt in the state of Texas when he
is thought to have accidentally shot the man, a member of
the same hunt party.
The man was named as Harry Whittington.
Mr Whittington, a 78-year-old, is not thought to be
seriously injured.
He is reportedly receiving treatment in hospital and the
Vice President is said to be at his bedside.
