I watched the interview on Meet the Press. I know Bush is lying. He uses far too many "crutch" words while trying to think of answers to cover himself. He could never come straight to the point to state facts. Hemming and Hawing is a telltale sign that he is trying to figure out what to say that won't incriminate himself and stressed intelligence is at fault. He does it so often that it sounds like he is stuttering. He was shifting around like a little weasel. It reminded me of a boy who broke his mother's dish and trying to shift the blame on his dog so he won't get into trouble. Lying was a way to get into trouble and lying is a way to get out of trouble. His excuses shifted from one thing to another. He forgot to tell mommy, it was he that stole the cookie out of the jar!
Bush was too evasive just like liars. If you believe him; than you would believe the Pope is from Alaska.
