Ultimate Security: Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction explores the new instruments and countermeasures that have emerged to deal with the global spread of weapons of mass destruction in the 21st Century. These issues dominate the current headlines and will be critical in determining not only the future stability and security of the United States but global peace and prosperity as well. As non-proliferation developments unfold in the Middle East and East Asia with breathtaking speed, Ultimate Security is a valuable resource to understanding emerging tools and directions for non-proliferation policy. The panel discussion will include presentations by several of the book's contributors, including David Kay, Joseph Cirincione, Rose Gottemoeller and Rob Litwak. The Century Foundation's president, Richard Leone, will make opening remarks and Janne Nolan will moderate the discussion.
