VoteVets’ latest ad

Hail to the Chimp, Biach! Bush enacts an executive order
allowing him to silence/bypass civil servants and
scientists in favor of his political cronies. This freak
must be stopped!
Thankfully, Democrats are pushing back. Sen. Russ
Feingold held a hearing today on the Constitutional
rights of Congress to end the war in Iraq.
After a decade of dormancy, House Dems revive the
Oversight and Investigations subcommittee of the Armed
Services Committee.
Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) introduces legislation to prohibit
the Pentagon from CONTINUING to sell F-14 spare parts to
Iran. Astonishing that such a measure would even be
required.
And Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) is not going to roll
over when it comes to the White House spying on American
citizens.
Devine Strake, Bush’s simulated nuke test, is STILL on
the table. We stopped once and we will have to do so
again.
Bush’s escalation troops won’t have the armor or
vehicles they need. White House says ‘tough s**t’.
Oh, and by the way, even the new top commander in the
Middle East concedes that Iran is at least a decade away
from having nukes if they wanted them.
Two charges are dropped against Lt. Watada, but he still
faces up to 4 years in prison.
Donate to Lt. Watada’s defense and/or sign the petition
of support
Former Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer hits the stand
and immediately contradicts Scooter Libby. Judith Miller
(ewww) is to testify today.
These stories and much more on today’s Randi Rhodes
Show.
