The calling of a Royal Commission of inquiry into the case of Maher Arar
is a very important development in the War on Freedom:

Maher Arar is a Canadian who was detained when transiting the US on
a journey home to Canada. In violation of international and American law,
he was deported to Syria where he was imprisoned and tortured for 10 months.
Although he was sent to Syria for torture by the Americans, it is now
becoming clear that it was based on information provided by the Canadians.

Canadian Royal Commissions are very rare and can be thorough and impartial;
it offers a real opportunity to review all of the fraudulent 9/11 legislation,
and to bring to light how what the Minister of Justice Irwin Cottler termed
"the Shadow Government" operates on both sides of the border.
