I believe it's time for a motion to be presented that changes the Title of our elected officials, eliminating the word Representative! Truly, We the People our no longer representaed by those we hire. It's time We the People start holding our EMPLOYEES accountable and demand they make the effort to know, understand, and represent the intrests, needs, and will of all their constituents.
Somewhere we have lost sight of just who works for who in this country. If enough districts put it on the ballot for the title Representive to be changed to something else (Congressional Messenger, People's Employee, Congressional Emmisary), perhaps those who are Supposed to be working for all of us will get the message and start doing their legally defined jobs.
The only authority and power Washington has is that which we allow them. If they have too much, or are using incorrectly, then it's because We the People are letting them get away with it. Take a stand, get involved, and make sure your voice is heard!
