Thank you all for your recent signature on our petition at "We, The Taxpayers" for the restoration of no-cost health care to career military retirees. Actually, some of you are just on my mail list, but if you have not yet signed our petition please go to the web site below and do so. You do not have to be retired military to agree with their grievance. The voting bloc we are forming is growing by thousands each week. Please send our web site to all of your mail contacts so that we can try to get at least one million signatures by May of this year. In May we will deliver the petition to congress during the gathering at the Mall.
Most of you are aware of the new Patriots' Congress we are forming in March. That powerful new voting bloc will be able to accomplish much, but we are faced with a more immediate problem that needs our attention now. I am referring to the John Ashcroft nomination. The line has been drawn in the sand. There have been several petitions that I have seen and signed myself, > but I think something more is needed. As you may recall in our health care petition we made it clear that we will not vote for any politician who does not vote for our proposal. I suggest that we do the same thing for Mr. Ashcroft now.
I need for you to respond to this email with a simple "yes", and your full name as you want it to appear on the petition, if you want to be added to our petition and statement of intent to vote as a bloc only for those congress persons who vote FOR Ashcroft. Under no circumstances will we vote for those who vote against his affirmation. If you do not agree please respond with "no". Time is of the essence, so please do this now. There is no time for me to get a web master to build a new site for this unless someone is willing to do it for me immediately. I do not know how. I apologize for taking so long to reply to your signatures, but we have been swamped with the health care class action and the "lost military ballots" class action. Please pass this communication to all of your contacts as soon as possible.
