Yes, the inevitable Peak Oil crisis, and the wars it has already engendered, leading up to WWIII, is a given.

What, to my mind, is also a given is this. Since the United States has embarked on genocide of nations and torture of innocent civilians (see www.rense.com  story: "Detained, Bludgeoned, Executed Into A Coma By U.S."), I really don't think we have any right to survive.

You heard what I said. It's still echoing in your head.

The only thing left now, which has always been the most important thing in life anyway, is to genuinely live for Jesus Christ. And I'm not talking about some phony confession of faith.

When you stand before Him - after you've starved to death, been mugged by a hungry mob, or been incinerated by a nuke -Jesus will ask you to show Him your faith by your works. (See the Epistle of James.)

Will you then ask, "What works?"

If so, you'll be like the bunch who asked him in the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats - "Lord, when were YOU in prison?" Those who are self-righteous will be awfully surprised. God expects more of you than your 501(c)3 hireling pastors have been telling you. Maybe you should read your Bible for yourself to find out what they have omitted.

Once your life on this earth is over, it will be a little late then to get your theology right.
