Subject: Various Items pensions are underfunded to the tune of $750 billion

Corporate pensions are underfunded to the tune of $450 billion. Public (government) pensions are underfunded at LEAST another $300 billion. On trillions of dollars in public and private pensions, we are talking massive trillion dollar shortfalls that will have to be made up by either tax-payers or shareholders (out of corporate profits). And every dollar that is not funded now is a dollar that is not earning returns so the effect gets compounded.
Many of us will live a lot longer than we planned! Retirement benefit assumptions get blown to Hades with an extra 5 or 10 years of life. Few companies will be able to fund a plan 30 years from now, let alone 40 or 50. It borders on the immoral to allow a worker to retire, thinking they are set for life, when those promises are going to go up in smoke. Or they will be handed over to the PBGC where taxpayers will get the privilege of making those payments. Corporations will either abandon their defined benefit plans, or at the very least change the nature of the contract. Governments will be forced to change their plans. Things are going to change, because they will have to. You had better plan on saving more than you thought. The good news is that you will probably live longer. You want to make sure you do not live past your savings.

I think the riots in Paris suburbs are an omen of what's going to happen all over in good 'ol USA when the economy collapses. I think 911, Patriot Act, the building of gulags, flu quarantines, Black ops in New Orleans, allowing military to be police, etc. etc. are preparation for that. What the above shows most clearly is this: the plutocratic government which has seized totalitarian power in the USA, figures that instead of paying a pension to older people, it is far better to let the old guys die (as good "patriots"), and use that money in a two step program: FIRST, orchestrate phony but lucrative "terrorist" attacks and SECOND, thanks to this "terrorism", make war everywhere in the world. This guarantees fabulous profits coming on the one hand from military expenses and on the other hand in juicy reconstruction contracts... not even speaking of plain THEFT by the US military gangsters. Well you can't say that those guys are not smart!

And what does the ordinary American people say to that? Well being either starving and sick or obese and sick, he can't say very much except: "Duh!"

The Americans can live as they want, It is no skin off my nose. Except when their vicious system threatens the whole of humanity, then it is everyone's duty to interfere and one way or the other, RE-EDUCATE THEM.

It is time to start the MONOPOLY game all over again!!! I understand how you feel, Janet. Would it make any difference to you if you knew for sure that provocateurs were behind the French arson? Unavoidable and Unpopular Truths, a Key to Freedom

We Hold These Truths has always tried to be an evidence builder, rather than a maker of unsupported declarations. We like to see each read what we have to say and decide what conclusions they should draw. But time is getting shorter for both of us, so we offer some blunt statements that we find to be self-evident.
Our forefathers, in writing the Declaration of Independence, were forced to draw some conclusions they did not have time or space to prove. They called these unsupported claims "self evident truths," meaning they are so obviously true that they do not need to be proved, and cannot be proved anyway. Without a faith in God, their truths were meaningless statements of opinion. Our forefathers' Declaration of Independence was good enough for most of the readers at that time, who must have believed as we do, that God is in charge, not man.

One of those truth's is that God endowed each of us with certain rights, one of which is the right to life. And further, in so doing, God created each of us "equal" in His eyes. These are examples of self-evident truths only if you earnestly believe in a Creator God. They result in commandments that almost everyone knows as definers of good and evil. For example, "thou shall not steal" and "thou shall not kill."

We think each one of our brash statements is so obviously true, it requires no proving. But in prior writings we have, in fact, piled up a lot of evidence to support each one, and we will provide more where and when we are asked to do so. We know that some of our readers do not believe God is the source of rights, but for those who do, we think these bold statements should be self-evident. You might wish to answer "yes" or "no" to each of these statements.
