"Today's (May 20th) jump to 'LEVEL ORANGE ALERT' is to divert scrutiny over DHS (oversight committee hearings) and the crumbling of TSA, recently lanced by press and Congress and Senate for hiring convicted felons and murderers to screen the public at airports, waste, fraud and missing funds in the multi-millions. The time may be ripe for another staged "attack" here as we smarter ones are getting too hip to what the fake alerts are really all about. The only perceptible change here has been the banning once more of private aircraft flying ver[sic] certain areas. Other than that....its all smoke and mirrors and a retirement padding ploy for "homeland security" operatives such as fire and police who get to now once again charge mega overtime bucks for sitting around looking for....uh....for......for....????"

On June 10, Ashcroft announced the arrest of Jose Padilla for a "dirty bomb plot". Then there was an interesting discovery at FR. For their own reasons, people found he looks identical to John Doe, alleged accomplice of McVeigh in OKC bombing. . A coincidence?

"I work for the DHS. It is like a rogue elephant. Federal workers are losing most of their rights as employees. Agencies transferred over to DHS from other Agencies are waking up to a nightmare. The morale in my agency is at rock bottom. People are quitting in droves to get out of the DHS mechanism. We feel as though we were lied to and duped. We have no rights. It's not the rosy picture Ridge paints it to be at all. Most - not all, valis, but many - of us see the whole DHS dog and pony show for what it really is: smoke and mirrors. Many of us know 9-11 was not an "accident". There was prior knowledge alright. Keep up the work."
