Greeting Dear Governor/Mr Bush

I wrote to you the other day ( via email) and have left a couple of messages on the Family and the Friends web-page petition of Ms Terri Schindler Schiavo The lady currently undergoing death by starvation and dehydration upon her husband's wishes. Even since two days ago more details have come to my notice regarding allegations that would suggest Ms Schindler-Schiavo's husband Mr Michael Schiavo is under certain suspicions of actual physical abuse against his wife.

I do not know whether this person is innocent or guilty. But it would seem that since there are past medical records of some pretty serious injuries committed upon Ms Schindler -Schiavo, injuries if proven by her doctors treating her at the time and are on her records, then perhaps an immediately halt ought be called on this 'death sentence' being put upon this lady. If there exists one shadow of doubt, one would naturally assume that immediate orders to launch official investigations and enquiry would be a natural procedure in such a serious issue such as this. , when the life of an innocent is being jeopardised, and her husband urgently investigated surely by the police department. If he is innocent of the allegations, then he won't have anything to fear, if anything, such enquiries would acquit him of the allegations and suspicions. Being the lady's husband, he may be able to throw some light upon exactly how she sustained such damage.

On the other hand if he were found to be guilty of such abuse, then it may even explain the true motives why he seems so desperate to have her put to death.

Guilty or not, it seems quite un-balanced in any-case, that only one member of Ms Schindler'Schiavo's family should be the sole authority over what should be done with this lady.. Seeing the situation as I have so far viewed it, it seems pretty obvious to me ( and many others ) that it ought be her blood relatives, her own mum and dad who ought be the true guardians of her and of her welfare. If you have children yourself Mr Bush , I feel strongly that you would also agree with this point too.

I have taken a careful look at a picture of Ms Schindler-Schiavo as her mum approaches her, and it looks obvious in her gestures that she doesn't appear to be in pain nor is she unaware, on the contrary she is fully aware of her mum's presence and looks radiant with happiness and love toward her and an awareness shows in her eyes and face that she fully comprehends her mum's presence and love for her and feels secure with her.

It is heartbreaking to think what these poor parents must be going through. Their agony is all of our agonies too.

At this stage I admit that I am not totally aware of everything that is happening in the technical -legal sense, only that I know that you have intervened in efforts to help this lady. For this Sir, please may I Commend You and Thank You With All My Heart !!! Any act of mercy like this certainly won't go un-noticed by the Divine Who Sees Everything.

Had this been a case where someone was terminally ill , whose pain and indignity was just too much to bear any longer, and too great for loved ones' to bear any longer watching, things may have been different-- ( but never should starvation and dehydration be used surely , I just cannot believe that this method is painless. If truth be known then it seems likely that Ms Schindler Schiavo is in far greater pain and distress now by this method being employed than she was previously.) --- but I don't think Ms Schindler-Schiavo qualifies for such measures. From what I gather she was undergoing re-habilitation which time and care would do so much for her. If she is not in any pain and seems secure and happy with those around her she loves and is loved in return, then is such death of the person really necessary?

The vilest criminal or wildest animal would not be treated in such an inhumane way.

I am extremely pleased though to hear about you kind and merciful intervention Mr Bush, again please accept my appreciation and admiration of you.
