Missouri flooded in 1993. Following is a portion of an article discussing the MIDWEST FLOOD TRIAL, in other words...
the hurricane and surge did not cause New Orleans to flood. The barge broke the levee in New Orleans and that is NO secret BUT if a barge broke the levee after the rains in 1993 in Missouri and caused a flood and a barge broke the levee after the hurricane in 2005 and caused a flood. According to Haerr, there were no reported problems on area of the levee breakage. Haerr said he told one of the farmers who inspected this area around 6:00 p.m. to go home to get some sleep. When he first viewed the levee breakage from a helicopter, Haerr said he thought a barge must have busted through the levee because the area was one of the strongest portions of the levee. "I just cannot believe water came in on it's own accord," Haerr said.

The state ended the day's testimony by playing six minutes of video footage of the flood, including the explosion of the Ayerco gas station.

example), Bush axed their repair and maintenance budgets. And he put in
charge of the agency that would respond to a major terrorist attack a
man with no experience and no credentials except as a frat boy

Locals from Lakeview subdivision of New Orleans report that after Katrina passed a loose barge struck levee causing breach that flooded city.
WMR has just been informed by evacuees in Baton Rouge from Lakeview, a well-to-do New Orleans neighborhood, that the flooding of the city was caused by a loose barge striking the levee on the 17th Street Canal. The breach was not caused by rising flood waters as reported by FEMA and other agencies. Lakeview is some 1.5 miles down Veterans Boulevard from the 17th St. Canal breach.
Distraught evacuees want to know why the Coast Guard or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers did not secure the barge. The evacuees who witnessed the barge striking the levee also want to know why the major media is not covering this story. It is not known what company owns the barge but if it is a major campaign contributor to the GOP, the answer is self-evident.
