I'm a native of New Orleans. We eat the food, you go there to eat. It's hot, people don't jog. That's not the point. The people who didn't leave, couldn't . No credit card, no car, no money. People have no idea about the poverty in New Orleans. The black community takes care of it's own. People don't starve there, or sleep in the streets, but they have NO money. The unemployment rate is over the top. People have multiple generations to take care of. None of you have any business talking this kind of shit about people you know nothing about.

What is going on there is genocide by neglect. No one cares about the poor, especially if they are black. Have you seen one red cross box handed out to one person? You should ask yourself, how has this happened? This is America, at least last time I checked in.

The hurricane didn't dump 20 feet of water into the city, the broken/unprepared levees did. Bush took the money and sent it to Iraq a couple of years ago. He is personally responsible for the death of the people of Iraq, the American soldiers, the city of New Orleans and the thousands of citizens, poor and black, who are dying this very minute.
