The authors also report in their book that when she makes mistakes she does not admit them as well as goes into a "shell". They added that there's a secret side to her office where she did not divulge that she employed some people in her office. According to Senate rules she was required to disclose and file documents on these workers. After their expose on this issue, Senator Clinton filed one document in six years about these employees only after the work of both investigative reporters.

The New York Times ran 8000 words of this book on the cover of their magazine. The New York Times also independently fact checked 1800 foot-notes in the book. The authors asked Senator Hillary Clinton for an interview for the book through Mr. Howard Wolfson, Sen. Clinton's communications director. They were turned down through Mr. Wolfson before they began writing the book.

According to the authors, Sen. Clinton did not cooperate with the book on her record as a senator as well as her political career. The authors add that Sen. Clinton also encouraged other senators, aides, and friends not to cooperate with the investigation of her voting record as a senator. One of the senators encouraged not to cooperate was Senator Harry Reid.

In the book, the authors report that Hillary did not read a classified briefing on national intelligence estimate on the war on Iraq. Sen. Clinton claims that she wanted a more diplomatic solution to the war on Iraq back in 2002. The authors found that her vote as a senator was for the war. They state that she had a chance to vote against the war by voting for an amendment proposed by Senator Levin back in October 2002 but she voted against the amendment against the war. They state her claim for a diplomatic solution to the war on Iraq in 2002 is false. They both further write that she did not go to the Senate floor back in 2002 and speak against the war on Iraq. They further state that to this day, Sen. Clinton has not clarified this fact, and that she has had plenty of opportunities to do so.

Supporters of Sen. Clinton for the Presidency say she talked about diplomacy on Oct. 17, 2003 on the U.S. Senate floor. The authors state and write that the reality is she spoke about "regretting that President Bush had misused his authority..." not about using diplomacy on the war on Iraq. In their book, the authors further report that the first time Sen. Clinton spoke about diplomacy on the war on Iraq was in June 2006.

The authors state on the show that they wrote the book, Her Way, so that the public can determine for themselves based on Sen. Hillary Clinton's senate voting record as well as her entire political career whether she would make an effective and competent U.S. President.
