Lou Dobbs Tonight
Friday, August 10, 2007

Tonight, the Bush administration makes it clear that they will
begin to crack down on illegal immigration and start to enforce
the laws on the books. Is this just the first step in what will
become a resurrection of the comprehensive immigration reform
bill that will grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens?
We’ll tell you all about the political gamesmanship tonight.

All eyes are on the financial markets today, as investors faced
the second largest market drop of the year Thursday. The U.S.
Federal Reserve injected liquidity into the U.S. financial
markets this morning to lessen concerns and the potential of a
deepening economic crisis. We’ll have a full report on what
this means for middle-class Americans.

Companies that hire illegal aliens have a big advantage over
their competitors who play by the rules. In South Carolina, a
roofing contractor who has seen his business plunge 90 percent
gets arrested for protesting at a competitor’s job site. The
contractor publicly admitted to hiring illegal aliens. But
nothing happens to the businesses with illegal aliens, while
those who play by the rules are in a fight to survive. We’ll
have a shocking report tonight.

Tonight, in our weekly tribute to the men and women who serve
this nation in uniform, we bring you the story of Marine Corps
Reserve Sergeant Mark Camp. Sergeant Camp repeatedly risked his
life in Iraq to save the lives of his fellow Marines and was
awarded the Silver Star for bravery.

And we'll be joined by three of the country's best political
analysts for a recap of the week’s top stories: Diana West of
The Washington Times, Robert Zimmerman, Democratic National
Committeeman and Michael Goodwin, Pulitzer Prize-winning
columnist for the New York Daily News.

tonight’s show and to test your news knowledge in our Week in
Review quiz.
