Was President Bush High on Drugs Last Night?

While watching President Bush nominate his Supreme Court candidate last night on national television, I and several others who were present with me noticed something very unusual and peculiar. While speaking, President Bush seemed to be manifesting physical facial tics that have long been associated with and observed in individuals who were under the influence of Cocaine and even more so in those who were under the influence of Methamphetamine. It was apparent to myself and others that either President Bush has suddenly developed a pair of nervous facial tics or more probably that he was under the influence of some illicit and illegal drug. Specifically I and those present observed a visible tic in the region of his left cheek in the upper region of his jaw and an even more noticeable grinding-like action in the area of his mouth. Both of the aforementioned tics were visible and continuous throughout the entirety of his speech.

I could ignore his mispronunciation of the word person as "perston" and his usual bad grammar in telling us all how Mr. Roberts "captained" his High School football team and other such customary verbal gaffes that we have come to expect from our nation's leader but I could not ignore the continuous facial tics. I could also ignore his obvious confusion at what to do and where to go at the end of the event because there was apparently none at his side at the moment to tell him what to do or in which direction to make his exit. We have come to expect that of him especially after watching him at the elementary school in Florida on September 11, 2005 - but I could not ignore or dismiss these facial anomalies - after all, this was something new and cause for wondering - Is the president nominating a candidate to one of our nation's highest judicial offices while under the influence of Cocaine or Methamphetamine? Am I witnessing the President of the United States strung out on drugs on national television during prime time? Is he high?

Just days after the United States Attorney General announced the epidemic proportions of the methamphetamine problem we are facing in this country, I can't help but think that maybe mandatory drug testing of this nation's CEO might be in the best interest of it's national security.

A Cocaine or Methamphetamine addiction would certainly explain President Bush's propensity towards violent and aggressive behavior towards others and a great deal more.
