Did the leak of Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan's name to the press enable the London terror bombings?
http://petitiononline.com/noorkhan/petition.html Over 250 individuals have subscribed to a petition calling on U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer of New York to follow up and press further on
correspondence which he had sent last year to the White House pertaining to the leaking of sensitive
intelligence on Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan last year.
Khan was 25-year-old Al Qaeda computer engineer, who had been providing information to US allies, specifically Britain and Pakistan.
British
intelligence, at the time, had been closely monitoring terror suspects within the United Kingdom. Upon exposure, the
intelligence operation was aborted and it was feared that some suspects had escaped.
On Thursday morning, 7 July, several bombs were detonated in the London Underground, killing 50 people and seriously wounding many more.
Also, this is a critical time to examine such leaks insofar as the Valerie Plame case is revealing serious data about such security breaches.
