NORTHSTARJOHN ROBERTS: THE ULTIMATE INSIDERWed Jul 20, 2005 20:5124.60.48.84From: www.geocities.com/northstarzone/ROBERTS.html
President Bush, eager to get your attention off the scandal surrounding his close buddy, his 'political mastermind' Karl Rove, or the latest death count in Iraq, put on a little show to introduce his choice for a new judge on the Supreme Court. The new Supreme Court nominee John Roberts should not have too much trouble gaining confirmation, mainly because very few judges have as strong of a pro-government record as Judge Roberts. He consistently votes with the government, and those who control it. Roberts was part of a three-judge panel that handed Bush an important victory when it ruled that the military tribunals of detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, could proceed. While this is supposedly designed only to try foreign suspects before the tribunals, there's nothing that would stop them from extending this to any other suspected terrorist, INCLUDING AMERICAN CITIZENS. Now because someone is labled a 'suspected terrorist', they are not entitled to the international protections accorded to prisoners of war. For you who think of yourself as a 'conservative', imagine Hillary Clinton using this against you if she becomes president.
Also like most politicians, he is cleverly vague about where he stands on the important issues he will be making decisions on. In the case of abortion, in 1991 he took the position of being opposed to Roe v. Wade, that made abortion legal in America. In 2003 during a confirmation hearing he stated that he is 'comfortable' with Roe v. Wade being the law of the land. Darn clever these Washington attorney's, aren't they? He must have learned that one at Harvard. The confirmation hearings will also allow for more diversion of the minds of Americans from the issues that really matter. While the fake right and the confused and corrupt left are arguing over this, how many more illegals will stream in over the border (at Bush's encouragement)? How many more deals will be struck in Washington to send more American jobs overseas and to South America? How much higher will the price of gas go? How many more will die in Iraq? That Americans have been turned from a freedom loving, gun carrying, Christian nation, into a Government fearing, feminized, immoral mass of jelly in just 40 years is not only a testimoney to the effectiveness of their efforts, but also to the spinelessness of this latest generation.
As far as Roberts goes, it doesn't really matter who gets on the Supreme Court. Don't be fooled by the NARAL Pro-Death crowd protesting against Roberts. He is no more a threat to abortion than is Barney Frank, and they know it. Roberts told senators during 2003 confirmation hearings to his current post that "Roe v. Wade is the settled law of the land. There is nothing in my personal views that would prevent me from fully and faithfully applying that precedent." Abortion is not only big business in America, it is also a way of life (and death). There is no politician, no judge, no court that will stand in the way of this. Once a people have been de-sensitized and accustomed to a process like abortion, the only way it could be reversed would be through a major upheaval, or a revolution.
Like a gang of thugs that have taken over a neighborhood because the residents are too cowardly to stand up for their rights, America is now run by a group of globalist bandits that run very profitable Mafia-style operations, and abortion is one of them. If anyone on the inside ever develops a conscience, and makes a stand against it, they will be discredited one way or another, or even killed (yes, it's happened). So while the fake left/right 'War' over the confirmation of John Roberts starts heating up, remember to keep your eyes open, and keep your hand on your wallet.
