If you look at the News lately, you just notice a reported kidnapping of a girl in Aruba (CNN, Fox, CNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc..). But millions of other stories progressively worse than this is happening, in America or even NYC/Long Island Area with people loosing their homes and having no money for support or food. People literally starving in their homes with no jobs or any social services support available for them, cause the system is insolvent (especially in Long Island/NYC area). Now you ask, why is one reported and the other not.
Well my theory on this, is some people in America count more than others-that their life on them is much more valuable than you (or even "me"). There is you and the "others" (like the kidnapped girl in Aruba)-who count substantially more than me or you!!
There's "you and me" (which the FBI wouldn't waste time on) and the "others" (kidnapped girl in "Aruba"), that the FBI will spend manpower to search for a kidnapping. Beleive me if, one of us, mysteriously died of some disease, or ailment, would the FBI waste their time on investigating the cause or even for that matter report it in the Newspaper or TV. No! you would be just buried like all the other "John Does" with no mention of the incident!!
