I have hard time believing anything about this Al Qaeda thing, Osama and few more on-going stories promoted by self declared experts in "terrorism" whatever that means, based on all the reading I made and piecing together the official information we get along with my the laws of physics that seems to stopped working on 9/11. Oh well...
First of all, Osama Ben Laden, according to all the reports, comes from a rich family involved in deals, I am not sure to what extent with Greg Bush, you know who he is, and Osama until his graduation with a degree in Civil Engineering, was not known to have had any kind of training nor history in guerilla warfare or even have shot a gun in his life. As you know very well, Saudi Arabia is a police state and the average Saudi is not allowed to bear arms, so for sure Osama did not spend too many weekends at the shooting range to learn the tricks of the trade.
Now, how could he be recruited to lead the so called Mujahedeen movement in Afghanistan with a BSc in civil engineeringh and no previous experience in guerilla warfare? Doesn't that seem odd to you?
So let's say that he was the mouthpiece that we used to attract the gullibles from Muslim countries to fight the Russians in our behalf, and that we supplied the training and the weapons to those guys to do the fighting on our behalf, thanks to the courageous CIA officers who put their lives on the line to get the job done, and let's admit it that the guy has nothing going on for him other than his mouth to make fiery speeches about Islam and so on to attract the gullible(s).
But here is the other interesting thing I read, about Osama who moved to Sudan after the Russians left Afghanistan and the Afghani started fighting each other, the Sudanese government offered to turn Osama over to the US government or to the Saudi Government, who both refused the offer and declined to get a hold of their alleged "mortal enemy", how can you or anybody justify or explain that other than the simple explanation that Osama has a role to play and he is playing it alright.
You know what his role is: Help frame the Arabs and Moslems in the minds of the American people by using him as the ugly Arab, something we all detest or trained to detest, to allow certain policies to proceed with unquestioned public support, and this is where we are at. Interestingly, it seems that every time the Adminsitration is in dire straits, Osama comes up with a tape or his so called right or wrong arm makes a stupid statement aiming at galvanizing the American people behind the Administration to keep the war going or something. We are kept on our toes, thanks to the media hype exaggerating the role of Ben Shit, who is really an average bedouin that we use to justify our wars to steal the oil of Iraq and run a pipeline through Afghanistan that Taliban did not want to go along with.
How can you explain that Osama's right hand man, Aymen Al Zawahry, was arrested for the assassination of Anwar Sadat and was shown in court, behind bars, addressing foreign journalists in English, very well known fact, however, after Al Zawahry's release from jail in Egypt, he traveled to the USA several times, nobody knows what exactly he was doing here. Being a felon, arrested in such a high profile case would guarantee him that his applications for entry visa to the US will be revoked on any grounds, so how come he made to the US so many times.
One more thing, don't you find it odd that Al Jazeera seems to be their station of choice where all the tapes always are aired from this tv station with questionable background? We all know that it is in Qatar, but Qatar is one of those places where when they discovered oil wells in there they created a fiefdom out of it, as it was done throughout the Gulf area, where on top of each oil well they put a Shiekh in charge. Qatar does not have the technology nor the manpower to repair a broken sewer pipe, so how come in the middle of nowhere they created this well packaged tv network, which is beamed in the first place to all the Arabic speaking countries for various reasons, last on their mind is preading culture and freedom of speech because in Qatar you wouldn't dare criticize the ruler or the ruling family for this matter, you will be gone in a heart beat, no different from any of these Gulf countries. So how could it happen that their SHeikh Ruler woke up one day and decided to become a media magnet like Rupert Murdoch or something, and signs up Osama for exclusive rights to his video tapes. Isn't that odd? I think it is to me.
To make a long story short, this Al Qaeda thing is a fib of our imagination and all the terrorist operations starting with 9/11, The Madrid, London and bombings and the bombings in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, they were all perpetrated against innocent by standers of no real value other than creating a diversion for public consumption. Compare that with the IRA, who during their bombings against England, they went after Margaret Thatcher blowing up the hotel where she stayed in Brighton when her party was having some sort of Convention, assassinated Lord Mountbaten the Queen's cousin, basically went after high profile individuals whose assassination will hurt the establishment, not average individuals in a building or commuting to work, in an attempt to spread fear and anxiety amongst the population to galvanize their support behind the wars.
That's how it looks to me, what do you think?
