To whom it may concern:
I am terrified for my country, for the concept of freedom and for all things good an honest in this world. There is a ridiculous amount of missing information on the subject of a "plane hitting the pentagon" - one of the most observed and filmed buildings in the world. Oh, but we get this paltry few frames from a "security camera" - right. And not a shred of a wing, a tail, or any piece of metal or plane - like debris. And it went through the two layers of a part of the pentagon - the ONLY part - that had just been refitted for impacts of that type? I cry for my country, I live in fear of my freedom as a human being. I do not exaggerate, I cry that such horrible things are being perpetuated and there is a dull silence (almost always) on the matter.
There is one other thing I need YOUR help with. We have, here in Suffolk county and Long Island in general, channel 20. It is public access. There was a chilling but very intelligently and thoroughly done show on just this subject and the ludicrous idea that jet fuel took down the twin towers (they used Galileo's theorem of gravity to show some of the contradictions of how such a thing would happen). Anyway, when they got to the part where they were about to show what they said was filmed evidence of explosive devices going off in a chain as would happen in a demolition on both buildings (Oh by the way the broadcast was June 3rd at about 10-11pm) there was a sudden blank screen and a warning tone with the public access title page displaying for no reason for about 5 seconds, and then suddenly some old local videos of music events came on, right in the middle of the inquiry!!! Could you, with your superior knowledge and resources, look into this? It was jarring and genuinely disturbing.
I am planned to leave the country and move to Japan in the end of August. Although I have long dreamed of this opportunity (this is a professional move) now I find that my motivation is becoming as much because I am honestly scared to live in my own country, the founding of I believe to be a great miracle in the history of the world, and despite the great social problems we have and continue to face, I consider these to be healthy, if often tragic, expressions of freedom and the rights of people to self government. Now I feel I am leaving the country not to experience another great culture, with a rich and truly unique history, but to escape from a land spiraling fast into irreversible tyranny and corruption of unfathomable depths. Surely, there is no way to fix our election process and the goings on in government, but at least I used to feel we were not targets or victims of them, it was the price we paid for being the wealthiest country in the world. Now I am not so sure, indeed, I am scared.
We live in completely different times. Even Thomas Jefferson, a great hero and inspiration to me, with his belief in the rights of people to revolt against tyranny, would be forced to admit that the capacity of our government, with its information gathering power and speed, its terrifying military power, and its internal security forces the like the world has little knowledge of, makes escape all but impossible. And the seeming indifference of our fellow citizens, so enslaved by a tax system unseen since the Roman "Curiales", are so busy slavings away in a hopeless shell game called capitalism that they know not or are unable to participate in their own "by, for, and of" government that supposedly belongs to us. Does it? I do not think so. I think we have been finally defeated. Our crass materialism has finally destroyed us, our mindless conformity to religion with its false promises and ludicrous claims has destroyed both our minds and our ability to join together under a common cause.
I hope I can make it to Japan before the genie escapes from the bottle.
