Dr. Patel:

Apparently we were not clear.

A human has received a LETHAL dose of RADIATION at ____ RADS indicated.

A human should be removed from a battle zone when the RADIATION LEVEL INDICATED IS _____ RADS.

A vehicle or contents is considered dangerous when the RADIATION LEVEL INDICATED IS ____ RADS.

Range 0-1000 RADS Dr. Patel. What level is worth being alarmed over... Simple question and no answer on your site or any other document read so far. Please confirm the following:

WARNING LEVEL IS 0-25 RADS

CASUALTY LEVEL IS 50-1000 RADS. B model paperwork suggests or indicates over 100 RADS to report to nearest emergency room. Such I can understand as a senior officer or NCO in any battle arena.

Surely someone verified something as you have shown these levels on RADTriageB model paperwork but the links printed DO NOT WORK?

REVIEW BAD LINK ON YOUR PAPERWORK FOR RADTRIAGEB:
REPORTING EXPOSURE PAGE TWO OR SIDE TWO IS IN ERROR AS WELL AS YOUR REFERENCE IN ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Ralph,

We can't print what to do on the card as the users are all kind of people.

RADTriageB can be placed inside any plastic holder. However, some of the radiation will be absorbed by the holder.

The maximum operating temperature of RADTriageB is 90oC/194oF. However, higher the temperature shorter the shelf life.

I will provide flayer and other info on RADTriageB within a few weeks.

All 10 RADTriageB arrived today. Ruth and I were issued one each EXPIRING JUNE 2008 and will monitor locally.

Others will be forwarded to those who have RADTriage units initially. Thanks for those replacements.

Any reply about the RAD levels which are dangerous and should result in anyone being removed from zone where they receive high readings? Cover on RADTriage lifts so easy and the color change comparison chart allows senior staff to log readings which are invaluable for protection or rotation of personnel even in the United States weapon ranges. Too many ranges have DU particles thus constantly emit radiation which will be registered LET ALONE THE TANKS with protective armor and weapons which can be monitored along with personnel riding 8-12 hours per day X 7 days per week. Right now they have troops returning for 3-4 tours and no DOSIMETER issued to see the increase in RAD's.

Can the RADTriage or RADTriageB be placed inside a plastic holder within a tank when the temperatures go high??? How about in a weapon storage area standard temps as not many A/C units are available? No one in Congress has indicate WHY the military in all battle areas have not been issued the $20.00 personal dosimeters like Ruth and I wear daily and review weekly or monthly for readings which can be recorded and read with ease.

No word on United Nations allowing us to talk about asking all in the UN to BAN DU WEAPONS nor on being assigned to go to Iraq with radiac equipment to verify levels and mark areas contaminated under UN protection and permission. CEASE FIRE WOULD BE MANDATORY WHILE AREAS ARE VISITED AND USE OF SAT WITH COMPUTER LINKS COULD ALLOW READINGS TO BE TRANSMITTED VIA INTERNET.

Would not expect to survive long after such a trip without special equipment but plan to use special Oxygen cylinders to refill SCUBA tanks to use while walking outside A/C vehicles taking measurements PLUS using large Oxygen tanks to breathe air inside vehicles for protection. Water wash down and use of disposable clothing each visit would be easy as sealing in zip lock bags would be a must.

Several including Dr. Moret or perhaps Dr. Rokke may head the teams and we voluntarily threw our name in the pot for an assignment if approved to keep some youngster from having to risk contamination.

Keep in trouch and by all means get that FILM or Video done on your units so that it can be put up on U-Tube for the World to see and call for unit purchases!!!
