SAVE SHAD! (Re: Project Shad)
Sat May 19, 2007 17:43

Dear Friend,

As you know, the Veteran's Administration has been
overwhelmed by high disability rates from the perpetual wars
of the Bush Administration, scandals from its top
leadership, and endless budget slashing schemes and
proposals. Now, the fate of projects that serve SHAD
veterans may be on the chopping block as well. We only have until Monday, May 21st to save this much need health
resource for veterans who were already abused and betrayed
by the very country they only wished to serve with dignity.
Please assist us in sustaining all that is right, just and
decent in our nation by requesting an extension of time for
public review of the current proposal, Congressional
oversight of any changes prior to implementation, no
alterations to the current SHAD VA service, no name change
to facilitate a cover-up for nefarious activities, and the
retention of all documentation related to Project SHAD.
