Fierce Fighting Reported Outside Iraq’s Al-Qaim; Heavy US Casualties Reported

http://www.jihadunspun.com/intheatre_internal.php?article=102584&list=/home.php& According to reports just in, very heavy fighting is going on just outside the city of al-Qaim between the Americans and the Mujahideen, following a multi-pronged attacked by al-Qaida in the Land of the Two Rivers against US troop concentrations that have amassed approximately 6 kilometers outside the city.
It appears that the recent statement from the Abu Musab Zarqawi has ignited a flurry of operations, with 20 reports received on attacks carried out by Al-Qaida alone so far today, 11 of them martyrdom operations.
Very heavy American casualties are being reported in today’s fighting in the Battle of Al-Qaim that is still ongoing. More details to come as they are available.
