I want to make employers pay alright. I want there to be a big fine - say $10,000 for being caught employing an illegal. I would like $1,000 of that money to go to bounty hunters who find them. $1,000 to U.S. Treasury to pay for the deportation proceedings and the remainder of it to buy the illegal an airline ticket home with a little money in their pocket so that they can restart their lives in their own countries.
I would also like there to be an automatic jail sentence for the officers of the company found to be hiring more than 5 illegals or for the 2nd offense with less than 5 illegals. Small family farmers exempt for hiring migrant farm workers.
My plan would solve the problem of illegal aliens in no time at all.
