Hospice IN Calif. Gets The Patients Medicare Benefits

Who do you think pays Hospice Nursing Registrys to come into the home and aide the dying patient? Why it is our govt. miss. Don't you know this? The patient has a choice
stay at home sign over benefits to hospice, which is Meidicare for being a disabled person or keep your private or h m o insurance and stay at home and have someone drive you to your doctors for cont. treatment. You can't have both. So in most cases the patient's family is told oh its easier to go on Hospice and you get a R N nurse once to twice a week come in for a few minutes and take your vitals and order morphine, and any other drug, allowed by Hospice, you pay for extra drugs , medications you want to take out of your pocket. And the deal is you sign an agreement, contract with a Hospice Nursing Registry, that you wish to hire them , and that Hospice doctor decides your faith. He signs your death cert. and no coroner ever gets involved. Because when you die in your home on hospice, the medical records have to reflect that you have a short time to live , 6 months, and its renewed by the doctor when you go beyound that, and they send in only a bath nurse 2 or 3 times a week and thats all you get for free. Its not really free, because you have signed over your health insurance Medicare to Hospice and they in turn get a check from the govt. for over 4,000 a month. So dying patients are big profits for Hospice Registery. This is why the govt. wants to lift the burden of the expense of taking care of dying sick people, and hurry and get it over with. That why Hospice theme is to be pain free, give Morphine so that when the patient develops sepsis while dying no expensive antibiotics are given , no lab tests are allowed, no blood work is ever drawn. Nothing is done to apply as if the patient was still on a h m o. It for comfort only, and having a nice person , there social worker come in once in a while and ask how ya doing. No, I don't won't hospice. I want my doctors to keep me pain free when I need to go to the hospital I want my medical insurance, I want my govt. to give me health insurance assuring me Im going to be able
live a normal life getting treatment of my choice from any doctor of my choice, I don't want some govt. telling me who and when I can see a Doctor and forcing Hospice down my throat. No thank you.........I dont understand why is Terri at this Hospice center. Its suppose to be for people that have only months to live. Why is she here and not a long term nursing home? How did Michael pull this off, what kind of Doctor signed for Terri to even be in a Hospice center.
Or is this a combination nursing home with hospice patients inside too, but still Terri has proven to be alive now for many years. So something is wrong with this picture. Michael
knows if he puts her on Hospice the Govt. pays for it, if he puts her under long term stay nursing home , he will have to pay out of his pocket, so maybe he wanted to hurry her death all along but just couldnt get rid of her. This question needs to be asked, why and what authority did Terri's doctor sign for her to be Hospice when she isnot. She is a long term care patient that needs to be at home with a caregiver coming in with Terri's family thats what should have been done.
