FIGHT MY GOD, FIGHT FOR TERRI'S LIFE!!!
First, PLEASE read all the mail I send, it is direction for you. It is the
info that I receive to forward to all of you. WHO TO WRITE ... if "I" wrote
the email, me, not someone else, then I recieved the info from The Gibbs Law
firm. If I forward something to you, that is send to me, I am doing so out of
good will and am not sure where that info comes from, other then the person
who is trying to help by sending it to me. From now on, I will tell you if the
info is mine or not, 99% of the time I thank who ever sends the info to me.
Also, things did not go well in court today, in MY opinion. Judge Greer is
allowing the family to have one final day of pictures with Terri before she
dies. Atty. George Felo's will hold onto those pictures until Terri does die,
so that no one see's her suffering until she is gone..
Judge Greer has allowed Terri her last rights and Holy Communion.
Judge Greer denied Terri's burial by the family, Michael Schaivo is allowed to
cremate her as he wishes and take her ashes out of state.
Judge Greer wants more time to think about letting the family feed Terri by
spoon once the tube is removed to see if she can swallow without TRAINING.
Many of you know what that may very well mean. If he allows that, why not
allowed her to be trained (3 weeks) before he removes the tube? The chances of
her exasperating are VERY likely, if that happens, the nursing staff will be
instructed to let her choke to death.
NOW PLEASE READ IMPORTANT INFO BELOW... Keep in mind ... THIS IS NOT OVER!!!
FIGHT MY GOD, FIGHT FOR TERRI'S LIFE!!!
March 7, 2005 As you may already know, Terris case has reached a critical
point. Judge George W. Greer has ordered that her nutrition and hydration be
removed on March 18, 2005. This will begin a long and painful death process
for Terri if his order is carried out.
There are still some things that can spare Terri, and disabled people like
her, from this type of forced death. Some of them require your help.
1. Floridas House and Senate are considering a dehydration and starvation
protection act that would require stronger evidence of informed consent prior
to removing assisted food and fluids from an incapacitated patient. If you are
a Floridian, a disability advocate or an elder care advocate, you can let
Floridas lawmakers know that you want them to consider such an act.

2. The US Congress will consider a bill titled the Incapacitated Persons
Legal Protection Act on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. This bill, if signed into law,
would entitle incapacitated persons to the federal review of their rights
(known as habeas corpus) and would help ensure that they have been fairly
represented. You can encourage your representative to give favorable
consideration of this act. Habeas corpus protections are currently available
to the worst convicted criminals; this new law would make it clear that
disabled Americans are entitled to at least as much legal protection.
3. Seventeen doctors neurologists, physicians and pathologists, have signed
statements in Terri Schiavos guardianship proceedings to support new
neurological testing protocols for her. This is important because of recent
findings that may support the position that Terri is not in a persistent
vegetative state and can be trained to communicate in spite of her
limitations. Disability advocates across North America are calling for an
immediate moratorium on deprivation deaths for disabled people like Terri
until these new protocols can be enacted as an updated avenue of testing. We
ask that you contact your state representatives and ask that they consider
such a moratorium.

4. The Justice Coalition has petitioned the Governor of the State of Florida
to invoke statutory protections for Terri Schiavo pending an investigation
into abuse, neglect and exploitation against her. Petition below and where to
email it to or FAX it....
TO: Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Legislators,
and Federal Judges
CC: President George W. Bush
As a concerned citizen, I am signing this Petition to
Save Terri Schiavo and I am urging you to take
immediate action to stop the forced starvation of
Terri Schiavo. It is vitally important to safeguard
Terris right to life. Further, we cannot afford to set
a legal precedent which puts the lives of other
Americans at risk. I support legislative, judicial and
executive efforts that will stop the forced starvation
of Terri Schiavo.

Congressman Dave Weldon, (R-FL), a medical doctor, is introducing a bill which
-- when signed into law by President George W. Bush -- will save the life of
Terri Schiavo, as well as insuring other disabled people are afforded the same
Constitutional protection of due process as death row inmates, whose lives
hang in the balance in judicial proceedings.
Mrs. Schiavo's case involves a dispute between her parents - who insist that
Terri wants to live, and her husband, Michael Schiavo -- who is determined to
put his wife to death. Congressman Weldon's office reports that Terri's
parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, filed a civil suit claiming that Terri's
husband, Michael Schiavo perjured himself when he testified that Terri stated
an aversion to remaining on life support.
As Dr. Weldon says, despite the courts' pronouncements that she is in a
persistent vegetative state, evidence exists to the contrary. Terri Schiavo is
not in a coma. She is not on a respirator or other 24-hour a day medical
equipment. She can move her head and establish eye contact. She responds to
touch, voices and the presence of people. She can cry and smile and make
facial expressions.
Terri Schiavo has never been afforded independent counsel. Terri has no voice
of her own in these legal proceedings -- something so fundamental to every
citizen of the United States including the most heinous murderers. Congressman
Weldon's "Disabled Person's Legal Protection Act" explicitly recognizes in
federal law the due process of habeas corpus appeals for disabled individuals,
such as Terri Schiavo, who are the subject of a court order to affect their
death by removal of nutrition, hydration, or medical treatment.
It does not apply to circumstances where an advance medical directive is in
effect. Justice must be given to Terri Schiavo. The Florida judge has stopped
all further appeals to save the life of Terri Schiavo. This bill should pass
overwhelmingly. Time is of the essence. Call the U.S. Capitol switchboard
immediately at 202-225-3121
