Nobody ever thinks there are consequences 'til they happen. How you avoid all this is you never do the wrong thing for the wrong reason the wrong way. The gov't is good at failing to acknowledge that because they don't care -- so long as there's some personal gain in it for them. If that weren't the case they wouldn't go about things the way they do.
Political independents (activists & even underground like us) often times seem to find intelligent resolutions to the world's problems following principle--& that takes enough conviction to find a way to deliver when it's pain-staking--& that could very well be at any stage of the game with anything. If many more people like us got in actually then the world would be run right to benefit us all.
