On January 25, I emailed the Central Intelligence Agency from their contact form and said I had some whistle-blowing to do about their former boss George Tenet. Their inspector general has been preparing an unfriendly report about David Boren's special friend and protégé. I thought I'd get in there and offer my information about the Boren-Tenet-Edger trio and their misconduct enabling the 9/11 attack. I requested the email address of the inspector general.
On the very next day I came home to a surprise: a message on my answering machine from a CIA agent. This was a woman, seemingly fairly young, who identified herself as Toni Kaufman. Since she referenced my email to the agency, I know this was no hoax. She requested that I call her and left a phone number. Readers can hear the recording of her speaking to my answering machine by seeing my entry about this incident here:

On January 27, we had a long phone conversation and Kaufman listened carefully to my developing the case against the Boren trio. Then, I emailed her my links plus contact information for two people who saw the buried KOCO-TV news broadcast about the 9/11 hijacker's airline ticket having been purchased from a University of Oklahoma library computer terminal. Kaufman said she worked for security and would forward my information to the inspector general. I have not heard from them since.
Oddly, an interesting coincidence of peculiar behavior from CNN has since developed. My column had linked to the CNN story about the Inspector General's unfriendly interest in Tenet. Checking for it today, I discovered that it has been yanked.

The Google cache of it is available at this time, but will have a limited life:

YOU are encouraged to make scans of the CNN events. They are interesting records.
